What is eBA?

eBA automates your business procedures or "workflows", where documents, information or tasks are passed through functional posts, according to your set of rules or procedures.

eBA realizes all your form and document work electronically, parallel to the way your work flows - design, share, use, approve, cancel, distribute and archive, all in one system.

eBA is a Workflow Management Suite, that improves the performance of system business processes. eBA enables standardization and automation of processes. The use of this process reduces the costs of company`s resources and contributes effectiveness to the work.

eBA circulates processes at different electronic points, so the way of business process of companies will be improved in great capacity.

eBA

eBa Form Designer

eBA Form Designer is used to design the forms that are the parts of the processes. The drag and drop technology is used by the designer which is completely a visual tool. With its object oriented development method the work processes can simply be designed by it.

You may also make fields required for some of your data entry fields in order to prevent missing data entrance.

In addition, you can define the data types such as (text, integer, float, data, etc?)of the fields to prevent invalid data entrance.
 

With the database connection object, data on operational systems can be easily transferred to the eBA forms. Also, data can be shown to the users by pop-up grids. Data can be obtained by simply filtering and ordering properties of the pop-up grids.

The arithmetical operations can be defined with the Formula Wizard between the fields on the eBA form.

With the sub database object eBA is able to define detailed data entry easily.

The documents can be attached to eBA forms with the attachment object. The approver`s object has ability to show the initiator name, surname, approval date, rejection date and the signatures of approvers.

Field based security can be activeted in order to define which fields will be viewed or edited on each step of the process. So with this feature nobody can view or edit fields not related to.

eBA Flow Designer

Processes can be easily designed by eBA Flow Designer. The eBA Flow Designer is a drag and drop visual tool. You can make connections between the objects on the Flow Design Form in order to define work process by using simple object oriented logic of the Flow Designer.

You can make serial and parallel approvals. Also, group approvals can be taken by the group object.

eBA Designer can divide the flow in to sub flows according to the data on the document by the compare object. For example; you can design your flows according to the cost field of the document or you can send your flows to the other directions according to the title of the document owner.

You can decrease the delays on approvals. You can use escalation feature to control delay on user approvals. Also, you can control and decrease delay time between any of the two flow points by using the timer object.

Scripts such as (J Script, Vb Script) can be written at any point of the flow by Function Object. With these scripts you can edit any database, run executable files or send data to other operational systems.

At any point, another forms flow can be triggered with the Form Trigger Wizard.

Web Interface

The users are able to fill up, control, approve, view their documents or get reports of the documents and print them according to their permissions by using the Web interface.

They can list and view the status of the documents, owner of the documents and approvals on documents.

On the other hand, according to user`s authority rights they can access system anywhere that browser based.

Printing and Excel reports are the part of this module. The document data can be reported to excel by using the profiles of the users in order that the users can easily analyze any of the process.

The documents in the document`s archive can be listed according to the fields on documents so that you can see approvals and approval delays on the document. The profile based archieve enables high process data security. You can customize security on all profiles.

eBA Manager


eBA Manager performs the management processes. Database Management Module defines that which databases or Data resources can be accessed by the eBA Forms.

With eBA you can access the data on SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, ODBC ebnabled databeses and Ole DB enabled databases. The access method of to these database systems can be customized according to the connection type in order to maximize the speed and performance.

Queries can be defined to get data from databases. Queries can simply be defined with query wizard. Queries can be constructed by using table based queries, stored procedures and XML web services.

With Authorization Manager, users, groups, titles, departments can be authorized. You can create new groups. Also roles can be defined and assigned to users and groups.

eBA Workflow Server

eBA Work Flow Server is a service application. All of the work flows such as creating processes and other tasks are carried out on this service.

All the clients connect to this service in order to complete their tasks.

When a problem is occured on server it keeps on working. Also all occurred errors are being logged to a file.

The connection type of the server is based on TCP/IP protocol that is standard on all of the networks. It has ability to prevent data integrity and error control mechanism.

eBA Compiler

eBA Compiler compiles froms and flows developed by eBA Designer. It also checks flow logic in order to prevent flow errors with a precompile task. eBA Compiler creates the data structure (tables and fields ) of the form automatically.

eBA Net Compiler presents the users with successfully compiled processes.It produces eBA forms to work on dotnet framework.

eBA Mail Server

The eBA Mail Server is responsible to transfer approval or information mails to your company mail server.

If target mail server doesn`t respond to eBA Mail Server it keeps your mails and waits until your mail server works. When target mail server works then eBA Mail Server starts to transfer your mails to the target mail server so that all of the mails can be sent to the people.

eBA Schedule Server

The Schedule server is responsible to manage escalations. You can define timeouts on each flow approvals and between two points of the flow.

eBA Data Server

eBA needs a relational database to work. Database server can be MS SQL Server or Oracle database. All documents data and flows are stored on the database.
